Faith. Hope. Love.
These words have many meanings in secular society. For me they are one in the same, much like the Holy Trinity.
Faith (The Father) is having complete confidence in His Perfect Plan. There is nothing we could ever, ever, dream of that could or would even come close to His Plan for us.
Hope (The Son) is the virtuous desire for future good. Christ suffered and died so we could have the best possible future.
Love (The Holy Spirit) is seeking out the good or honor of, care deeply about, and to be dedicated to someone. The Spirit comes straight to us when we call Him. He’s always ready to spring into action. He’s the one who’s always seeking us out, looking for ways to show us just how deeply He cares for us, to guide us and inspire us to do the good & honorable thing.
Hi! I’m Allis Martz. I was Confirmed & received my First Holy Communion in 2014 at the Easter Vigil at St. Dominic’s Church in Bremen, IN. In 2016, my family moved to Albion, IN. I’m 43 years old, married (going on 18 years), & have one son (24 years old). I’m a homemaker & godmother of two toddler girls. I do like my yarn & hooks; I also enjoy painting or any craft.
I have been praying and on the hunt for like-minded, holy, & positive female friendships to dig deep, safely share, and grow in a deeper relationship with Christ, together. Life is hard. And our world is broken. In the words of Venerable Fulton Sheen, “Our nation is too full of those that are crying, ‘Down’... Can you build anything down? You cannot! … Let’s begin to use the word, ‘Up’ … Up, up, to God!”
It’s time to build each other up, together, in faith, hope, and love.
